Pyramid Solitaire: Ancient Egypt

Pyramid Solitaire: Ancient EgyptHelp Pharaoh build the spectacular pyramids of Ancient Egypt in this atmospheric pyramid solitaire game.

Pyramid is one of the most popular solitaire card games because of its simple rules and fast gameplay, and this online version of the game offers some interesting features that make it especially compelling.

How To Play

The object of the game is to remove all the cards from the pyramid by selecting pairs of cards that add up to 13.

Aces count as 1, Jacks as 11 and Queens as 12. Kings count as 13 and can be removed on their own. All other cards count as their face value.

Here are all the combinations that add up to 13:

  • K
  • Q-A
  • J-2
  • 10-3
  • 9-4
  • 8-5
  • 7-6

There are two unique innovations that make this version of pyramid solitaire one of the best:

  1. There is a "Temp Card Store" which you can use as temporary storage for a single card. This adds a great deal of flexibility to the gameplay, increases the strategy, and improves your odds of winning.
  2. The gameplay is progressive – as long as you keep winning, your score keeps accumulating, allowing you to rack up a huge bonus!

In addition, the game keeps a high-score list, and there are various bonuses available, from a time bonus (the faster you complete the pyramid, the higher your bonus) to a bonus for using all the deck.

Add in some great graphics and fun sound effects, and you have a winner. Enjoy!
