There are a huge variety of poker chips available, for beginners and pros alike. The major difference is in the
quality of the chips. Plastic poker chips are inexpensive and fairly rugged, but often are lighter-weight and
prone to fading or scratching over time.
Higher-end products feature clay composite poker chips (like the casinos use) -- these clay chips will typically
last longer than the plastic chips, plus they simple feel more substantial when you're holding one in your hand or
pushing a stack of chips across the table.
